Description

Antares Pro is the best solution for powering mission critical medical applications and devices that require maximum energy reliability. Its flexibility of installation and use and the numerous communication options available ensure this UPS is suitable for a broad variety of applications, from information technology to security.

The Antares Pro range is available in 1-2-3-6-10 kVA models with online double conversion technology (VFI according to EN62040-2 class C2): the load is constantly powered by the inverter, which supplies a sinusoidal voltage filtered and stabilised in terms of voltage, shape and frequency. In addition, the input and output filters greatly increase the load immunity to mains and lightning disturbances.

It is characterised by a very low noise level (<40dBA), which makes it ideal for installation in any environment thanks to the PWM digital control ventilation dependent on the applied load and the use of high frequency switching inverters. The characteristics are guaranteed up to 40°C (the components are sized for high temperatures and therefore undergo a lower stress at normal temperatures).

Antares Pro is able to guarantee a high quality of the output voltage even with distorting loads (IT loads with crest factor up to 3:1), it allows a high short circuit current on bypass and a high overload capacity: 150% from inverter (even with no mains). It ensures load power factor correction: UPS input power factor close to 1 and sinusoidal current absorption.

It is also possible to always have highly reliable batteries, thanks to the automatic and manual battery test. Finally, it is also possible to have unlimited autonomy through dedicated Battery Boxes with the same design as the UPS.
